Now accepting new clients for assessment. I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in evaluation of Autism, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities psychological testing for children and adults. My goal is to gain a thorough understanding of strengths and challenges, in order to provide diagnostic clarity as well as appropriate recommendations so that you can reach your full potential. I see the assessment process as therapeutic in nature. As such, I strive to develop strong relationships with individuals, and families so that together, we can advocate for you or your child's learning and social-emotional needs.

I believe in the power of stories to inspire and to promote growth and healing. I embrace a wellness model employing the DIR Floortime framework using play (following a person's lead and need) and semi-structured cooperative and collaborative games, to give people the opportunity to see themselves as not just the authors, but the heroes of their own stories, shifting the focus from pathology to potential.

Since working with children, adolescents, adults, parents and families for over 20 years, my specialties focus on social skills development, interpersonal relationships, verbal and nonverbal communication, as well as understanding and identifying client strengths, beliefs, and passions so that they may gain a toolbox that works for them.

I am a licensed psychologist who provides comprehensive psychological assessments to address possible learning disorders, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, processing deficits, and emotional/behavioral issues. Additionally, I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, behavioral issues, OCD/panic, and marriage/family issues. I see clients across the lifespan, and provide individual, couples and family therapy. I received my PhD at the University of Georgia, and completed a two-year fellowship in psychology at the Yale Child Study Center.

She has been a therapist/therapist supervisor/behavior analyst for over 18 years combined in the secular arena before she decided to start a Christian Counseling Practice to help those that are in need.

When children are having a hard time they don’t always use their words to communicate what they are experiencing. Oftentimes they show it in their behaviors. I have provided pastoral care to troubled church members and to troubled youth in group homes and in jail cell blocks for more that ten years. I work with families and children who's lives revolve around the issues of one or more family members struggles with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
