I am a clinical psychologist with over 25 years' experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Many of my clients have more than one psychological issue, such as Depression/Mood issues, ADHD, Anxiety, OCD, PTSD, Tourette's, Social Skill deficits, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, and Relationship difficulties.

I work collaboratively with clients, finding the next best step for them to take to handle challenges and roadblocks in life. I get great satisfaction watching my clients improve their life through short or long-term therapy. I help children and adolescents reach their academic/social potential with the parents' support. I advocate for students with navigation of EiP’s/504’s and RTI. Other areas of expertise include grief/loss, stress, anxiety, self-esteem and relationship issues for children, teens and adults. I teach social skills to those dealing with Asperger's Syndrome and work with youth at risk for sexual exploitation.

Now accepting new clients for assessment. I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in evaluation of Autism, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities psychological testing for children and adults. My goal is to gain a thorough understanding of strengths and challenges, in order to provide diagnostic clarity as well as appropriate recommendations so that you can reach your full potential. I see the assessment process as therapeutic in nature. As such, I strive to develop strong relationships with individuals, and families so that together, we can advocate for you or your child's learning and social-emotional needs.

I believe in a trusting therapeutic relationship to create change. Then we design, create and assemble a toolbox filled with interests, experiences, successes, skills, and reminders to handle the unexpected and difficult parts of life. Since working with children, adolescents, adults, parents and families for over 20 years, my specialties focus on social skills development, interpersonal relationships, verbal and nonverbal communication, as well as understanding and identifying client strengths, beliefs, and passions so that they may gain a toolbox that works for them.

We have a unique matching process to help you find the perfect fit. We accept many insurances, have reasonable self-pay and sliding scale rates, and take HSA/FSA. We have a range of providers, including Masters level interns allowing us to see clients for as low as $25 per session, based on need. We have appointment availability throughout the week, including Saturdays and Sundays. We offer early morning and late evening appointments.

Ready for change? My approach to therapy includes cognitive behavioral therapy, expressive therapy, and play therapy. I have +20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.

My practice focuses on psychotherapy, neuropsychological assessment, and educational advocacy. Due to COVID, I am offering tele-assessment for those in high risk groups or w/ family members who are. Issues include: learning problems, employment challenges, relationship struggles, life transitions, developmental disorders, medical illnesses, and stress of being a member of a diverse group (LGBT, ethnic minorities, etc.). I see children/adults who may be unconventional, anxious, depressed or do not fit comfortably within their environment. The label “disability” may be applied to them, but “differently abled” is more accurate.

I am a licensed psychologist accepting teletherapy patients from all areas of Georgia. In-office patients will be seen at St Simons Psychiatry. I work with all ages incorporating mental, physical and spiritual factors. Therapy with children and teens typically involves better communication with parents and parenting help. Areas of expertise are mood, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, behavior problems, autism, chronic pain, stress and anger management.

I specialize in assisting neurodivergent youths and adults as they navigate their unique experiences and learn to integrate into society. While I work with children, I believe in the power of working specifically with parents as individuals as they work on the many layers of their identity and their own unique challenges that often go overlooked. Those grappling with self-judgement and doubt, people pleasing tendencies, emotional regulation challenges, and interpersonal difficulties often find a safe space. I extend a warm welcome to them while equipping them with techniques and coping skills to promote self-efficacy and confidence.

While active listening is an important skill for a therapist, listening can only go so far. All of the therapists here believe that what sets us apart from many other therapists is the fact we actually help you help yourself make the necessary changes in your life by giving you techniques, tools, skills, and guidance to achieve your goals.
