My goal is to gain a thorough understanding of strengths and challenges, in order to provide diagnostic clarity as well as appropriate recommendations so that you can reach your full potential. I see the assessment process as therapeutic in nature. As such, I strive to develop strong relationships with individuals, and families so that together, we can advocate for you or your child's learning and social-emotional needs.

Our psycho-educational assessments are highly detailed and identify any underlying impairments affecting school performance.

I believe in a trusting therapeutic relationship to create change. Then we design, create and assemble a toolbox filled with interests, experiences, successes, skills, and reminders to handle the unexpected and difficult parts of life. Since working with children, adolescents, adults, parents and families for over 20 years, my specialties focus on social skills development, interpersonal relationships, verbal and nonverbal communication, as well as understanding and identifying client strengths, beliefs, and passions so that they may gain a toolbox that works for them.

Terry Samuels earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in December 1994 from Armstrong Atlantic University. Terry obtained his Master of Public Administration degree in December 1996 from Georgia State University. Terry obtained his Master of Professional Counseling degree in December 2015 from Grand Canyon University. Terry completed a 10-month internship at Intown Psychological Associates and completed the hours required for his associate license. Terry is a fully licensed therapist in the state of Georgia (LPC011391). Terry obtained his doctorate in psychology from Grand Canyon University in November of 2023.

With a therapeutic relationship filled with nurturing and collaboration, along with a bit of humor and playfulness, we can explore dynamics, improve skills, and overcome barriers. Together, we identify and utilize strengths in the process of facing more challenging emotional and relational struggles. She enjoys working with neurodiverse couples, individuals, and families. She specializes in ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, and mood disorders. Glen earned a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, graduating with High Distinction (4.0 GPA). Formerly on staff at Ridgeview Institute in Smyrna, GA treating psychological disorders and addictions, he is a member of The American Counseling Association, The International Honor Society of Psychology and the American Association of Christian Counselors and is licensed by the State of Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Glen is a life-long Cobb County resident, currently living in Acworth with his wife, teenage son and daughter.
