It is my joy and passion to help others in life. I enjoy working with children of all ages. I have experience in Autism, ADHD, ODD, Depression, Anxiety, foster care/adoption, couples counseling, teenage life struggles, adult/women's issues, and general phase of life adjustments.

I am now offering the choice between in person or online video counseling to help persons of all ages who feel anxious, overwhelmed, stressed or depressed. It's so important that you have a voice and your needs are met. What you want and need, first of all, is to be really heard and feel understood. I always begin by listening deeply. The journey of healing and change can be made a bit lighter when shared with a caring therapist. I provide supportive and interactive help to enable you, or your loved one, to overcome anxieties and fears. Together we can make your life and relationships better.

Perimeter Therapy Associates provides psychological services for children, adolescents, adults, older adults, couples, and families experiencing life transitions, relationship difficulties, depression, post partum depression, anxiety, grief, parenting concerns and other mental health issues. Our approach to therapy is tailored to the unique needs of each client, facilitating positive change in a warm and caring environment. We assist clients in making fundamental changes in the way they think and act thereby improving their ability to solve problems, cope and communicate effectively. We also provide supervision for LAPC's working toward LPC licensure.

I have Bachelor’s in both English Literature and Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and earned Master’s in both Clinical Community Counseling and School Counseling at University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, where I now moonlight as an adjunct professor of Family Counseling for their graduate program. I have been practicing for 14 years, specializing in CBT, music therapy, art therapy, play therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, and alternative therapies. I enjoy working with all ages and backgrounds.

Georgia Behavioral provides treatment for mental health issues including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief/loss, ADD/ADHD, behavioral issues, school issues, personality disorders, drug and alcohol and other conditions. We also provide medication management. We are located in the heart of Warner Robins, Georgia. Our facility provides safety and privacy for patients seeking healing and recovery. Our program treats patients age 5 and older in an outpatient setting. Our staff is specially trained to address the complex needs of individuals with co-occurring disorders and to treat the whole person in a comprehensive way.

Hello! I am Stephanie Lemmey of Early Connections Child & Family Therapy. I specialize in treating and connecting with children, adolescents and their families. I work cooperatively with parents to set and manage attainable goals for their children. I am passionate about helping young clients reach their full potential and my goal is to empower children to make healthy choices for themselves. I enjoy giving my clients a toolbox of coping skills to use everyday!

My approach is largely cognitive-behavioral. This means that I believe that one’s thought patterns contribute to one’s feelings and behaviors, and in changing faulty thought processes, we can achieve improvement. My work is solution-focused, which means that I push toward change, setting concrete, attainable goals. I also believe that we are products of our environments. Thus, I often guide clients in examining past patterns and relationships to determine where their symptoms were learned. This is done in an attempt to change maladaptive patterns. It is my goal to be nurturing, empathic, & supportive through this process.

My belief is everyone needs a little help sometimes. Life is stressful and bad things happen to good people. I help by coming along side my clients and help them to develop a more positive mindset through various therapy methods. The most important aspect of therapy is the working relationship between the client and therapist. Through being genuine and building trust, I work to create a safe space that allows my clients to feel comfortable being open and honest. As a certified ERPSCC, I am specially trained to help first responders and law enforcement officers manage the unique stressors of their jobs.

I work primarily with children, teens, and young adults experiencing stress and anxiety, executive functioning deficits, identity confusion, mood disorders, grief and loss, and life adjustment challenges (i.e. separation/divorce). By providing a safe, non-judgmental environment, clients can effectively express, explore, and process their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I believe every client is equipped with a unique set of strengths and skills that can help them overcome adversity. By helping clients rework negative perceptions of events in their lives or of themselves, clients can move to a more regulated state.

Exploring the meaning of challenging behaviors can help identify obstacles that may be preventing a child from expressing and managing strong feelings, from developing meaningful/effective relationships, and from coping with stress. The clients I typically see are resilient and want things to improve. This can mean different things I am here to help you determine how best to make this happen.
