My goal is to gain a thorough understanding of strengths and challenges, in order to provide diagnostic clarity as well as appropriate recommendations so that you can reach your full potential. I see the assessment process as therapeutic in nature. As such, I strive to develop strong relationships with individuals, and families so that together, we can advocate for you or your child's learning and social-emotional needs.

My ideal client faces complex challenges like chronic anxiety, depression, significant life changes, unresolved trauma, and personal or professional dissatisfaction. They need a safe, supportive environment for expression, a structured approach to navigate their emotions, and effective strategies for overcoming these issues. Much of my work involves properly identifying the problems-in-living with which my clients are struggling and eliciting their latent skills and creative resources to overcome those problems. That is, before one can properly get anywhere therapeutically, one must answer the question, “What makes the ‘problem’ a problem at this time, in this way, for this particular person?”
