Beautiful Dreamers Behavioral and Educational Center also provides comprehensive psychological educational evaluations for children and adults in the areas of intellectual functioning, academic, behavioral, vocational, and forensics. Our psycho-educational assessments are highly detailed and identify any underlying impairments affecting school performance.

I strive to help individuals learn ways to improve communication, decrease stress, improve coping skills, and to set personal goals in life. I am motivated to help you succeed. My focus is to provide unconditional positive regard for my clients and to provide specialized therapeutic services for each client. My specialties include depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, and neurodiversity, to include ADHD. I am a certified Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS) as well as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).

My ideal client faces complex challenges like chronic anxiety, depression, significant life changes, unresolved trauma, and personal or professional dissatisfaction. They need a safe, supportive environment for expression, a structured approach to navigate their emotions, and effective strategies for overcoming these issues. Their families are an integral part of that healing. Seven years of experience working with children with severe autism, developmental disabilities and emotional behavioral disabilities in the public school system in the most restrictive environment. I offer support, guidance, behavioral solutions, intervention strategies in the classroom and home. Supervision for other professionals for obtaining their licensure. Dr. Dennis is a Clinical Psychologist licensed in Georgia and Michigan with over 20 years of experience. She is trained to assess and treat adults and children. I am a clinical psychologist with a background in philosophy, who enjoys helping people untie the mental and emotional knots that have held them back. Much of my work involves properly identifying the problems-in-living with which my clients are struggling and eliciting their latent skills and creative resources to overcome those problems. That is, before one can properly get anywhere therapeutically, one must answer the question, “What makes the ‘problem’ a problem at this time, in this way, for this particular person?”

I'm compassionate but direct in my style and often described as "Dr. Phil, with a heart". Have you been told that you need to work harder or be more committed to therapy in order to make progress? That if you would just not be 'resistant', then you would make progress? I believe that if you're faithfully going to therapy and not making progress, it's very likely that you're working on the wrong thing. Instead of figuring out and addressing the root of the problem, you're likely trying to deal with the symptoms of the problem. Like treating cough and congestion when you really should be dealing with the pneumonia that's causing those issues.
