I am a clinical psychologist with over 25 years' experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Many of my clients have more than one psychological issue, such as Depression/Mood issues, ADHD, Anxiety, OCD, PTSD, Tourette's, Social Skill deficits, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, and Relationship difficulties.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). With a specialty in working with adults with Asperger's Syndrome, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help my clients learn to cope with the symptoms of depression and anxiety that often accompany Asperger's. I also work with individuals of all ages seeking to increase their daily living skills. Additionally, I am available to work with parents who are struggling with their child's challenging behaviors.

I work collaboratively with clients, finding the next best step for them to take to handle challenges and roadblocks in life. I get great satisfaction watching my clients improve their life through short or long-term therapy. I help children and adolescents reach their academic/social potential with the parents' support. I advocate for students with navigation of EiP’s/504’s and RTI. Other areas of expertise include grief/loss, stress, anxiety, self-esteem and relationship issues for children, teens and adults. I teach social skills to those dealing with Asperger's Syndrome and work with youth at risk for sexual exploitation.

I believe in the power of stories to inspire and to promote growth and healing. I embrace a wellness model employing the DIR Floortime framework using play (following a person's lead and need) and semi-structured cooperative and collaborative games, to give people the opportunity to see themselves as not just the authors, but the heroes of their own stories, shifting the focus from pathology to potential.

We are a Pediatric Practice that provides diagnostic psychological evaluations and Clinic-based ABA. I have 30+ years of experience with toddlers to geriatrics. I completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychology, am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral, and licensed clinical psychologist. I have served on the Board of the Assoc. for Science in Autism Treatment and on the APA Task Force on Empirically Validated Treatments. I have published on a variety of topics and have taught at Argosy, Auburn, and Georgia State Universities. I have conducted IEE evaluations for 40+ school districts and families.

Now accepting new clients for assessment. I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in evaluation of Autism, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities psychological testing for children and adults. My goal is to gain a thorough understanding of strengths and challenges, in order to provide diagnostic clarity as well as appropriate recommendations so that you can reach your full potential. I see the assessment process as therapeutic in nature. As such, I strive to develop strong relationships with individuals, and families so that together, we can advocate for you or your child's learning and social-emotional needs.

Then we design, create and assemble a toolbox filled with interests, experiences, successes, skills, and reminders to handle the unexpected and difficult parts of life. Since working with children, adolescents, adults, parents and families for over 20 years, my specialties focus on social skills development, interpersonal relationships, verbal and nonverbal communication, as well as understanding and identifying client strengths, beliefs, and passions so that they may gain a toolbox that works for them.

For toddlers, children, and teenagers, I provide testing (psychological or psychoeducational) and therapy for a range of presenting concerns such as neurodevelopmental (such as ASD, ADHD), anxiety, academic, problem behavior (e.g., aggression, self-hitting/biting, stereotypies), and more. I use results of testing to inform therapy which is individualized to best meet the needs of your child and family. I have a specialty working with toddlers, children, caregivers, and people of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or Intellectual Disabilities for testing and therapy.

Seven years of experience working with children with severe autism, developmental disabilities and emotional behavioral disabilities in the public school system in the most restrictive environment. I very much enjoy my work as a Neurodiverse Coach. The goal is to develop strategies to help autistic individuals navigate the challenges related to being neurodiverse in a neurotypical world. I mostly work with college students, adults, and couples to cultivate techniques in all settings to support productive and healthy communication in addition to improving emotional comfort. I have over 15 years of experience working to help those with ASD find ways to manage sensory issues, regulate their emotions, and interpret social cues, both spoken and unspoken. My approach is interactive, caring, collaborative, and intentional.

My passion is to help aid my clients in identifying who they are, where they are and where they are wanting to get too. I work to help resolve conflict individually, in families, and/or relationships. Each client's story and journey is specific to them so my goal is to shape treatment to the specific needs of each person. We will work through the difficult moments, learn skills to aid in independence, and become comfortable enough to reach out for support when something is not working. Breaking patterns and creating new ones based off the person/family/couple you strive to be is the goal of each session.
