Christine Knight is an Internal Family Systems practitioner trained by the IFS Institute and currently enrolled in Level 2 Intimacy From The Inside Out (IFIO) training & a clinical hypnotherapist dedicated to helping people reconnect back to the disconnected parts of themselves to bring healing, peace, and abundance into their lives. Christine has taken the "scenic route" in her own healing journey from complex childhood developmental trauma over the past two decades and now brings all her experience and education in clinical hypnotherapy and mental health counseling to help you navigate your journey towards healing and wholeness.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Psychotherapist located in the area of Atlanta, Georgia. I work with adults, individuals, and families using a solution-focused and eclectic approach tailored to the unique needs of each new client. I have served in the mental health field for over 17 years. A highly dynamic, team-spirited, and evidence-based/ results-oriented professional seeking to combine outstanding academic and evidence-based training with excellent work experience, to make a significant contribution in a behavioral/mental health or social services environment. I am deeply committed to improving the quality of life.

Heritage Counseling has been offering mental health care for over 20 years. We have seven therapists (LPC, LCSW and LMFT) who specialize in a number of areas. We offer a wide range of appointments including Saturdays and evenings to accommodate today's busy families. Our therapists have worked with the local schools, courts, military and industry to help clients reach their desired outcomes. Our goal is to provide you with quality, well trained and confidential mental health care. All of our therapists hold advanced degrees, are state licensed and maintain their expertise via ongoing continuing education and peer consultation.

The past is in the present and the body remembers. With you guiding the sessions, I help you identify your earliest coping mechanisms so you can gain insight into why you have difficulties in the present. We can engage in "talk therapy" or I can use my skills and training in EMDR therapy to help you heal past trauma and to prepare for a brighter future! I have added two more therapist to the business. We have an Autism Support Group and a Soldier Support Group. If we can't help you, we will find someone who can.
