Hello, and welcome to my page! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, Certified AutPlay Therapist, Certified Autism Specialist, and Certified Animal Assisted Play Therapist. I specialize in Autism and ADHD, but can treat other diagnoses as well. My therapy approach is strengths-based, focusing on skill building and relationship development. Carly, my certified therapy dog, is also available to attend sessions. I offer video therapy sessions for those who would have difficulty coming to the office. Laura Beth’s counseling style has evolved into a holistic approach (incorporating mind, body and spirit), since starting out almost 20 years ago working with children, adolescents and families. Laura Beth has a diverse background including teaching, social work and community mental health. She has spent the last 10 years as a clinical therapist. She enjoys incorporating art, mindfulness and child-centered techniques. She graduated from Auburn University with a major in psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. She obtained her Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health from Troy University.

Georgia Behavioral provides treatment for mental health issues including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief/loss, ADD/ADHD, behavioral issues, school issues, personality disorders, drug and alcohol and other conditions. We also provide medication management. We are located in the heart of Warner Robins, Georgia. Our facility provides safety and privacy for patients seeking healing and recovery. Our program treats patients age 5 and older in an outpatient setting. Our staff is specially trained to address the complex needs of individuals with co-occurring disorders and to treat the whole person in a comprehensive way.

I have extensive clinical experience, 20 years+, working in the trauma-related, mental health, and counseling fields. I have been clinically licensed as a LMFT since 2006 and am an active member (clinical fellow) of AAMFT/GAMFT. My clinical path has allowed me to gain significant knowledge and experience in the field of mental health & counseling, clinical consultation, and speaking. I provide ongoing counseling in the areas of individual (children, adolescents, and adults), family, marital/couple/pre-marital, and group therapy. In addition, I am EMDR Trained and obtained my certification as a Certified First Responder Counselor.

She taught in the public-school system for several years. Cassie then received her Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Webster University. Cassie has been a fully licensed clinician for almost 10 years in the state of Florida. In relocating to Georgia, she is now dually licensed in both Florida and Georgia.
