I specialize in Autism and ADHD, but can treat other diagnoses as well. My therapy approach is strengths-based, focusing on skill building and relationship development. Carly, my certified therapy dog, is also available to attend sessions. I offer video therapy sessions for those who would have difficulty coming to the office. Counseling services focus on helping families and individuals build skills that increase healthy behaviors and foster resiliency. Symptoms and challenges are addressed using a CBT, DBT, Adlerian, and/or a client centered ‘strengths and solutions’ based approach. Emphasis in sessions include gaining awareness of negative self-talk and habits, learning tools to change behaviors, and rewriting new scripts that illuminate strengths, acceptance, and self-discipline. Sand Tray techniques and Play Therapy are additional approaches to help clients process emotions and progress in their goals.

She taught in the public-school system for several years. Cassie then received her Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Webster University. Cassie has been a fully licensed clinician for almost 10 years in the state of Florida. In relocating to Georgia, she is now dually licensed in both Florida and Georgia.
