Therapy is a process where people can feel emotionally safe. Therapy provides a time and place to focus upon problem solving, growing, and making changes to achieve goals. I meet with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples to address behavioral, emotional, and relational issues. I offer behavioral, emotional, and relational therapeutic interventions to assist my clients. Personal effectiveness and self awareness are important in making choices to promote positive results in life experiences of school, work, and relationships.
Some areas of focus for my counseling are anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, losses, learning difficulties, and trauma. I have facilitated a therapeutic social skills group for Middle School age pre-adolescents and younger adolescents for the past 10 years. The group focuses upon communication skills, empathy, managing emotions, and building friendships.
I look forward to meeting with you about your concerns. I want to help you identify your strengths for enhancing your well being.
