Thank you for taking the time to view my profile! I've been a psychotherapist for 15 years after 3 years assisting in published psychological research. My focus is on adult patients with trauma, family systems, anxiety, depression, addictions, personality disorders and/or emotional dysregulation. More recently in my career, I focus on emotional abuse, domestic abuse, dysfunctional family dynamics and recovery for both clients and other professionals. It is my mission to provide quality care with the respect and empathy everyone deserves!

I am currently accepting new clients and offer in-person and virtual sessions. First three sessions are $125 per 45-50 minute session. I am a Florida licensed clinical psychologist with more than 30 years experience in counseling and psychotherapy with individuals experiencing anxiety and mood disorders, personality disorders, severe and persistent mental illness, developmental disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders. I incorporate Mindfulness Meditation, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and EMDR into my therapy. I also have many years experience in supervising clinicians who are working toward licensure. Evening hours available!

My approach is client centered and humanistic. I am primarily providing supervision for registered social work interns and I have a few slots available after hours. I want everybody who I work with to succeed based on the goals they define. I truly believe the journey is just as important as getting to the destination.

I have over 40 years of clinical experience. Initially, I worked and trained with psychiatrists at a psychiatric training hospital affiliated with the University of Miami for 11 years. I have a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and 2 State of Florida licenses to practice psychotherapy and marital and family therapy. I have had my own personal psychoanalysis that better serves you. I've maintained my own private practice over 40 years as well. Therapy is serious and important work. I treat it as such. I help people who have individual personal emotional issues as well as having tumultuous relationship problems.
