Making improvements in one's life takes time and energy both inside the virtual therapy room and in daily life, and I believe that learning concrete skills to implement outside of therapy is necessary to make progress. Specializing in women’s mental health, Dr. Lorenzo started her clinical career in 2008 leading support groups for pregnant women and mothers. Dr. Lorenzo has vast experience offering support and consultation to high achiever women that need support with: management of stress and time, balancing roles with their careers or business, career changes or transitions, and supporting them in adopting healthier habits that can improve their overall wellbeing.

I became a Marriage and Family Therapist because I enjoy processing with individuals and listening to personal journeys to find a resolution. I was a High School performance art major and find this skill set benefical in providing supports through visual cues using various therapeutic approaches and modalities. I specialize in working with children and families in child welfare. I enjoy working with young children and teens as these are challenging developmental years, trauma and distress from systemic and familial patterns of behaviors, coupled with low parenting, coping, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

I provide ABA Early Intervention and Behavioral Therapy to children ages 12 months to 12 years old. My mission is to help children build their own strength. I work with children with problem behaviors, emotional challenges, academic struggles, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, defiant behavior, and autism, among others. To provide comprehensive support, I use a combination of tools in my practice including behavioral ABA therapy, art, playtime, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My behavioral training does not substitute my psychology background but complements each other.
