Please note that all my sessions are now via video. I think therapy is about change. Sometimes the change is simply accepting yourself more. Sometimes it's changing your situation. A lot of times it's changing how you work with your situation, such as relationships, finances, or your own emotions. I love to work with clients who are hungry for change. Together we can figure out HOW to get you that change. Like most therapists, I enjoy working on relationship issues. I probably enjoy more than most working on how to deal with your emotions (how can I best handle my anger? vulnerability?) and on self-acceptance.
I'm relaxed and informal in style. I enjoy working with what's happening in the moment during a session--emotions and sensations. I have a background in philosophy and enjoy ideas, but I find the most powerful parts of therapy usually happen when we're focused on feeling.
I really enjoy supporting my clients' creativity. I personally love creating music and writing. On the business front, I understand that my fee is prohibitive for a lot of folks--$250 per session.
