I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, insomnia, chronic pain and/or chronic illness. Other areas of focus that I can help you with include relationship issues, anger, stress-management, physical and learning disabilities including ADD/ADHD, life-stage issues and self-esteem. My professional career began as a certified American Sign Language Interpreter in 2001 and quickly progressed into earning a Graduate degree in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin.

I am here to help you with common concerns, such as depression, anxiety, stress, relationship matters, and coping with grief or trauma. I can also serve as a sounding board if you are seeking new directions or sorting through spirituality issues. You may be someone who can benefit from counseling even in situations not covered by health insurance. You may simply need to take some time away from the rest of your busy life, with someone who listens well and who is not directly involved---to sort through things, get feedback from a different perspective, obtain ideas, and receive support to work on changes for a better quality of life.

I am Deaf and fluent in American Sign Language. I usually see clients who experience anxiety, depression, and other diagnoses. I am particularly interested in working with clients who experience grief, domestic violence, relationship issues, and boundary challenges.
