A responsible social practitioner, I provide psychological care, and services using American Sign Language (ASL). I work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, including various populations that encompass sign language users. My interests center on developing tailored, specific psychotherapy applications that benefit the patients with hearing losses. Much of my work places an emphasis on the importance of "courageous will" to empower individuals to make choices that are useful and practical.

We'll end each session with a deeper understanding of you and the goals most important to you.

My ideal client wants to be engaged during therapy. My clients come prepared to do heavy work that is necessary to heal and move on from their issues. I expect accountability, transparency, a willingness to do homework, and be vulnerable during sessions. I employ a diverse approach to psychology that is specifically tailored to each person. Overall, this takes the shape of mindfulness cognitive behavior therapy. This feminist-queer lens includes your intersectional identity, personal goals, individual growth speed, identity, religious background, ethnicity, race, sexuality, gender, social economic status, and social stratification.

Our group practice was founded with shared passion for helping folks who have experienced trauma and/or difficult childhood experiences to heal, reconnect to a sense of safety within themselves, and find the freedom to pursue a meaningful life without being stuck in the past. We are also interested and passionate about helping folks navigate trauma, OCD, anxiety disorders, and attachment difficulties that often show up in our closest relationships.

Beyond general personal growth counseling, I also specialize in assisting individuals whose lives have been, to varying degrees, dismantled by non-life-threatening physical health issues. Symptoms and what we tell ourselves can disrupt the flow of home, relationship, and work life. Lives can shrink to ways of being in the world that are unfamiliar, scary, and unsettling – leading us to wonder who we’ve become, what our futures hold, etc. Family members, friends, and health care providers can assist us, though may lack the experience/knowledge necessary to help map out and lead us through the intricacies of the journey.

Wilson Clinical Services (WCS) provides psychotropic medication prescriptions (for Idaho residents) and neuropsychological exams. WCS also accepts referrals for all individuals for psychotherapy (including couples, family, & group) sessions. WCS has several clinicians, both male and female, who work with a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
