Over the past eighteen years, I have worked in community mental health, residential and private practice facilities helping children, adolescents, and adults solve problems and make significant changes in their lives. I am a Limited Licensed Psychologist, Certified Trauma Specialist, Adoption Specialist and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important element in making lasting changes. I am passionate about guiding couples through the intricate landscape of their relationships with a focus on authenticity, communication and reconnecting to your lost parts. As a relationship therapist, I am committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where every individual feels respected and understood. My therapeutic approach integrates a number of evidence-based modalities with an emphasis on Imago Relationship Therapy. As a therapist, I approach all of my work from a social justice framework. I enjoy working with clients from diverse backgrounds, including those struggling with chronic illness or dynamic disabilities. I work with clients to set realistic, attainable goals for treatment. I aim for transparency in everything that I do. I particularly enjoy supporting women, members of the LGBTQ community and clients from other marginalized groups. I am culturally Deaf and fluent in ASL, and as such, I serve many Deaf clients. However, spoken English is my native language, so many of my clients are also hearing.
