I have a passion for helping individuals who have been wounded physically, emotionally and spiritually to become whole and restored. Teryn is a Licensed Social Worker who earned her Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University with a specialization in School Social Work. Teryn’s undergraduate degree is in Social Work with a minor in American Sign Language. Teryn has experience as an elementary school social worker, primarily working with kindergarten through third grade students with mild to severe disabilities (Autism, Down Syndrome, TBI, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, among other unique disabilities). I’m Abbie, a dedicated intern therapist specializing in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), depression, and anxiety. As a dance movement therapist, I think the body can be a marvelous source for solutions and insights, when the movement is approached in a way that’s comfortable and safe. Talking is also an important part of the process, as we are whole mind/body systems, and we work best when both are accessible and well connected to each other.
