I work collaboratively with clients to define actionable goals and identify issues (conscious and unconscious) that act as barriers to long term psycho-emotional health. Philosophically, I embrace the idea that individuals often have the answers they seek to difficult questions. The real challenge may be finding the stillness to settle inner conflicts or competing thoughts (expectations, judgments, etc.) long enough to uncover personal truths.

I am a psychotherapist providing services to individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind, late deafened, and cochlear implant users across several states, including Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia, New York, Maine, Texas, and Maryland. I recognize that navigating stressors in our current times is more challenging than ever before. Increasing professional, work, family, and other external pressures make it more and more difficult to navigate daily routines and responsibilities. Recognizing past stressors and issues and how they are impacting/limiting us can be an important aspect of therapy that I strive to help people with. Learning tools and skills to help navigate stressors is also essential in therapy to help people feel their happiest and healthiest. Feeling less stressed and less overwhelmed; feeling better about oneself; and feeling happier and less anxious!

I work well with the client who genuinely wants to seek out counseling in order to find answers, solutions, or different perspectives to their struggles. Client success comes from being vulnerable, admitting and recognizing flaws, a desire to improve and become better, and an openness to being challenged. People come to counseling for a myriad or reasons including grief, unhappiness with life circumstances, feeling lost, lack of motivation, lack of purpose, and any other major life event causing turmoil. Through a trusted and trained adult in the therapeutic journey, clients will discover the neglected areas of their lives.
