I know in this post pandemic world it can be extremely stressful filled with anxiety and dread. It is always a good idea to have a friendly listening ear to help alleviate your depressive and anxiety feelings. I bring with me more than ten years of clinical experience in cognitive behavioral, narrative, and talk therapies. In addition I work with clients who struggle with negative self talk and other anxiety disorders. I also work with traumatic issues such as survivors of physical and emotional abuse. I work with childhood trauma as well using the psychodynamic approach.

Seeking help when things don't feel quite right takes courage. Sometimes we don't know exactly what's blocking us, other times that thing is too big for us to ignore. The majority of my practice has focused on anxiety, depression, and relationship catastrophes. Maybe you are super worried about your child and seek guidance for yourself or them. Maybe you struggle with guilt and shame and finally want to rid yourself of that stress.

I am versatile in my clinical experience with clients of different ages and cultures. I have particular training in working with individuals struggling with trauma and the many symptoms related to trauma. I also have many years of experience working with those who struggle with addictions. I enjoy providing support groups for adults and teenagers. I have worked in schools, outpatient clinics, and private practice. I also have experience in suicide prevention work with teenagers and young adults.

Specializing in clinical/developmental issues I can help families and children be successful. I prefer short term evidence-based treatments which means you can feel better quicker. I support people with anxiety, depression, and, underachievement. I am also a proponent of positive psychology to assist you in seeing the brighter side of life. My recent studies in successful ageing has given me new tools to work with the 65 and older crowd to help them enjoy the best years of their life.
