Hi! I’m Sisi Zhao, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a nationally certified rehabilitation counselor currently working out of Sarasota, Florida. My top priority is to always ensure your well-being and providing you with the necessary tools and resources to help achieve your goals. My approach to therapy is very person-centered, meaning that your needs always come first and that you are an equal partner in the planning of your care. I have experience in working with children, adolescents and adults that are struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, chronic health issues, substance abuse and ADHD.

I have been in practice for over 35 years. I weave my Psychotherapy to suit the person that I am working with. Trained in numerous modalities, I respect and work with the psycho-socio-biological and spiritual parts of the person. Developing the therapeutic relationship and cultivating trust are primary in my work with my clients. Intuition, Perceptiveness and Energy Fields guide me as well. My strong interest with Trauma Work comes from my belief that we all have been traumatized in different ways. Being in the womb, leaving the womb and the birthing process are the beginnings of trauma.

Dr. McKay is a clinical psychologist providing evidence-based treatment, such as cognitive-behavioral or dialectical behavioral therapy. She has extensive experience working with patients who have eating disorders or medical problems, as well as onducting psychological evaluations. Dr. McKay is also a Level 2 Gottman Therapist using an evidence-based method to help couples build a better relationship. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care in the community and treat all of our patients with respect and compassion.

Building upon strengths, she uses a positive, non-judgmental approach to encourage growth and change. In addition, Dr. Katherine Best offers treatment for stress, anxiety, procrastination, depression, cumulative exposures to trauma, priest and clergy abuse, chronic pain, and insomnia.

I am most passionate to serve clients with a wide variety of mental health challenges who are "lost", "stuck", or simply want someone to listen to their issues and understand. While all of my post-secondary education and most of my life have been in the US, I was born and raised in Japan, lived in China for 2 years, and worked in a multi-cultural global corporation for many years, all of which equipped me to work with culturally and age diverse clients.

Ms. Campana is a graduate of Princeton University with a Major in Psychology and received her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2009. She is a licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 13 years of experience providing mental health counseling in private practice with A Time to Heal. She values integrating client’s faith into the helping process only when appropriate. Saturday hours can be arranged to meet the needs of the client and their families. Currently, she has decided to not accept insurance and has chosen to not work with the restrictions to her practice by accepting insurance.
