About
The process of therapy is a transformative journey. As a therapist, I work with you as you seek change and meaning in your own life. Viktor Frankl once said "when we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves". The challenge of changing can be met with hard work and a safe, supportive environment. My goal is to provide the safe environment for you to explore what meaningful change would look like. I work with you in understanding how your early family of origin experiences and relationships impact your current sense of self and how you approach challenges in life.
I am currently licensed as an LPC-Associate under the supervision of Scott Martin, LPC-S and I am working on my doctoral degree in marriage and family therapy. I have additional training in affirmative therapy with the LGBTQIA+ community and have experience working with couples, adults, seniors, and diverse populations.
Every day is a new opportunity to do better than before. But sometimes life makes it hard and situations can make us feel "stuck". If you are feeling stuck and want to make a positive change in your life, you are making the first step toward a new perspective. I hope to facilitate your change and growth process. Together, we can help you meet your goals!
