I practice from a strengths-based and person-centered approach. I believe in and understand the importance of each client’s autonomy in their own treatment. I will work with you to understand you as an individual and the complex systems in which you live. My theoretical orientation is built on trauma-informed practices, CBT, DBT, EMDR.
I understand that you are a unique individual. My approach is collaborative; I listen to your needs and actively involve you in treatment planning. I target the strengths I see in you and within your systems. I believe that compassion and humor is vital to healing and will use both as part of your treatment.
