Therapy with me doesn't feel like being talked at. We'll start by figuring out together what's actually weighing on you and what you'd want to be different, then build from there. Some sessions might be working through a specific situation that came up that week. Others might be slowing down to look at patterns that keep showing up.
It's normal to feel nervous before a first session. You don't need to come in with the "right words" or a clear sense of what's wrong. Our first time together will mostly be a conversation.
