Each person has his or her own unique story, and this requires the therapist to place himself or herself aside and create a safe space for the client to explore and heal. As I work towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist, I enjoy working with a wide range of clientele including children, families, couples, and individuals. It would be a privilege to come along side you and talk with you about your journey in a judgment-free space where you feel both comfortable and safe.
As the therapist, I am here for all my clients, equipping them, and encouraging them to create their own change and foster growth. So, whether you want a safe space to process trauma, improve communication, decrease anxiety symptoms, or are not sure how else to help your child thrive, I can help.
People may feel frustrated that the healing process is slow or that they have not “improved.” However, I enjoy helping clients see that small or big changes are improvement. I use encouragement to help them see their accomplishments through using psychoeducation, coping skills, validation, empathy, and unconditional positive regard there will be change.
