I received a Bachelor’s of Social Work from Iona College in New York and a Master’s of Social Work from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. During my studies, I focused on community mental health and crisis management in youth and young adults. My passion has always been to de-stigmatize mental health in the BIPOC communities, while discovering and providing creative expressive ways that resonate with our population more culturally.
I have worked with clients ranging from ages 2-24 that have experienced depression, trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and simply just regular life stressors and transitions.
With those differences in needs, comes some of the creative expressive exploration that can take place in the therapy session. Additionally, my approach works alongside a client to help them discover their strengths and improve their overall well-being.
Outside of loving my job as a Clinical Social Worker, I love to dance, cook, create art, and read. Shockingly, I'm not really into the self-help books, I love a good romance, thriller, or anything with some drama to it. I also love to travel the world with my husband. The world has so many things to teach us and show us, just like you have so many things to
