I use an integrative approach: Emotionally Focused Therapy- values and honors the emotions you’re experiencing, your related needs, and helps grow confidence and assertiveness in addressing those needs with others; Symbolic-Experiential-allows for reframing and new understandings of areas for growth; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-empowers you to think about your thoughts, gives your brain accurate thoughts to think about, and motivates you to intentionally choose your behaviors; Parts and Memory-processes your past traumas; and Psycho-Spiritual-which reduces stress, pain, hopelessness, and anxiety, and increases your quality of life
Areas of interest/specialty include: anxiety, depression, betrayal trauma recovery, behavior addiction recovery, reconciliation in marriage, healing from divorce, escaping abuse, and trauma recovery. I am also a mediation counselor to help you prepare for that hard experience and a relationship counselor who helps guide connections in strained relationships
