I work as a relational therapist from a psychodynamic lens. I pull from a variety of treatment modalities; IFS, DBT, and attachment- based theories. I work from a multicultural lens, centering anti-oppressive practices, and acknowledging that our multiple, intersecting identities impact the way in which we navigate life.
My approach is insight-oriented and relationally driven which prioritizes the client/therapist relationship. This approach is known to have an empowering and growth-fostering effect on a client, ultimately leading to a decrease in distressing symptoms.
