Sometimes when it seems like things are falling apart, they really are falling into place. Hand in hand, I walk with my clients to help them discover improved coping skills and to process major life events. My style of therapy is client centered - I believe in non judgmental positive regard and processing issues together instead of the stereotypical therapist who asks "how does that make you feel?"
What sets me apart from other therapists is that I will ask the tough questions and won't let you sit on the proverbial couch while I nod my head! We will dig in and work together to push through and make real progress to build and fortify your emotional toolbox!
I have 11 years experience as a licensed clinician and over 18 years total in the mental health field - I received my masters degree through Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, IL. In my spare time I love to read mysteries and psychological thrillers, bake desserts and spend time with my family.
