Hello and welcome! Reaching out for support and connection while we're hurting can be so challenging, I’m glad you’re here. We all deserve a safe and affirming space to tell our story and reconnect with our authentic self. My therapeutic approach is non-pathologizing, trauma-informed, and social-justice based, and I draw from narrative, feminist, existential, and person-centered therapies. I believe therapy is collaborative and I rely on curiosity and compassion as necessary tools in the therapeutic process.
I've worked with children, teens, and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, family of origin issues, trauma, life transitions and self doubt or lack of self-esteem. I'm especially passionate about working with young adults, complex trauma, and LGBTQ+ folks. Some of my favorite tools include EMDR and using creativity within session.
Finding the right therapist for your needs can feel overwhelming and it's perfectly normal if it takes multiple attempts to find someone who truly connects with you. If anything here resonates with you and you'd like to learn more about if we’d be a good fit, I invite you to reach out for a free phone consultation. I look forward to working with you!
