Ashley Wilkins
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
I care deeply about supporting those who are struggling and accompanying them on their path toward healing. Healing is about more than just surviving, it’s about thriving; and it can take time and extra support to get there. As a social worker and therapist, I am honored to join in people’s healing process while leveraging their strengths and building supports around them. As your therapist, I work together with you to help you get from where you are to where you want to be. My therapeutic style relies on authenticity, empathy, and trust to provide a supportive environment for growth and change.
I approach therapy as a collaboration and offer a space that is trauma-informed and free of judgement, recognizing the value and uniqueness of your life experience. I specialize in issues of grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, parenting, and overall life transitions.
I work with all ages but have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families; and have provided therapy in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, and community mental health centers. I currently work out of two private practices based in Chicago.
