I am Ashley Tucker, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist with 8 years of experience in the mental health field. I am passionate about helping adults address their unique challenges and live more fulfilled lives. I specialize in working with clients to manage their depression, anxiety, substance use concerns, and grief/loss/trauma, as well as helping adults overcome major life transitions. Originally from Panama City, FL, I grew up in Morehead City, NC, completing my Bachelor of Social Work at North Carolina State University and my Master of Social Work at East Carolina University.
My personal experience, along with my professional background working as a therapist and in mobile crisis, has equipped me to provide clients with resources and coping skills as they overcome challenges. I utilize many treatment approaches, including dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, strength-based therapy, and CBT.
