My ideal clients are children and adolescents seeking support for anxiety, depression, grief, or trauma. They need help with emotional regulation and developing tools to face challenging situations independently, feeling understood and nurtured throughout. Additionally, I work with individuals aged 20 to 70 who have experienced betrayal trauma from a loved one. These clients need help with regulating their limbic system, healing from trauma, and redefining their relationship goals. Therapy focuses on setting boundaries, managing anxiety, and rebuilding a sense of normalcy.
I provide a warm, therapeutic environment where clients can process trauma and grief. Offering non-judgmental support, I guide them to trust their inner wisdom rather than dictating solutions. Using CBT, I start with trauma and anxiety education, then work on cognitive restructuring, relaxation techniques, and applying these to real-life situations.
As part of Chenal Family Therapy PLC, I consult with our team of therapists and psychiatrists who specialize in different issues, ensuring that all possible treatment approaches are considered. If we encounter problems outside my areas of expertise, I can provide seamless referrals, including testing and medication management, to get you the needed help.
