As humans we need to communicate, to interact, to be heard, and to feel understood. I believe therapy can be a very productive and cathartic outlet to help sift through everyday difficulties and unexpected or even devastating challenges that occur in our lives. Therapy can help encourage you to gain understanding and build growth leading you to find and accept your best self.
As a therapist I believe it is important to gain insight into what makes you the person you are today and how you want to grow from this experience. Therapy may still have a stigma surrounding it, however, I view it as a positive and mature step toward self improvement and fulfillment.
Throughout sessions I will encourage you, challenge you, and help you navigate the process along the way. You just have to make the decision to do something for yourself first. The ultimate goal is for you to work through the challenges you are facing, heal, and alleviate symptoms you may be having. Change may be difficult but it is worth it and so are you.
