I have been a licensed professional counselor since 2005, and have professional experience working with children/teens and adults as they walk through anxiety, grief, parenting, school issues, bullying, food allergies, family changes, and many other challenges that impact people or their family. I especially enjoy working with women who are navigating life transitions (such as parenting or empty nesting) as well as children who experience anxiety. I became a counselor because I believe every life has an inherent, priceless worth. It is my honor to walk alongside others as they discover how valuable they truly are.
As a client-centered counselor, my approach is flexible to meet the specific needs of my clients. I provide counseling through both traditional talk therapy & through play. Because play is the primary language of children, I have received over 150 hours of post graduate play therapy training in order to meet kids and tweens where they're at.
It is my goal to provide the highest quality counseling services in an environment that maintains the highest Christian principles. I aim to promote a respectful and safe place for all people, of all faiths, to find help for whatever issues they may face.
