About
My goal as a therapist is to help support clients to make sustainable and healthy changes to create the life they want to live. I specialize in working with adults who may be seeking self-help in areas of growth and personal development, and who may be experiencing changes in mood, depression and anxiety, new job transitions, and relationship conflicts. Additionally, I work with school-aged children (12+) and adolescents, and their families, who are experiencing challenging behaviors, such as school refusal, friendship conflicts, fighting with siblings, anger outbursts, disordered eating habits, and poor academic performance.
I provide therapy from a solution-focused, trauma-informed point of view, and I often incorporate the use of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy strategies into session. I enjoy adding art and body-movement interventions to create a well-rounded approach, and believe in full-body wellness.
I know that the search for a therapist can be a daunting task, and I would like to encourage you to reach out to ask any questions you have, to determine if I would be a good fit for you and your needs.
