Often, when experiencing difficulties in life and relationships, it is the stories we tell ourselves and the conclusions we make that bring us the most pain. These false and biased conclusions inhibit our ability to effectively cope and commit to a better way of functioning. I believe that each client is the expert on themselves and consider our work together a collaborative process to learn, understand, grow, and heal. I approach each client with empathy and respect as they maneuver new ways of thinking and feeling.
I specialize in treating trauma, childhood emotional neglect, anxiety and depression. I am trained in evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, and Neuro-Emotional Technique. The clients I work with experience anxiety, depression, and often tell me they don't like how they feel in their relationships.
