Deciding to look for a therapist can be tough. From everyday stress to important life transitions, events, and trauma, counseling is helpful for anyone. During counseling, I believe it is necessary and effective to challenge clients on unhelpful thoughts and behaviors they hold. This directive approach can result in feelings of empowerment and self-understanding.
As a certified Brainspotting therapist, I help clients find specific eye positions, or brainspots, to tap into implicit memory and nonverbal processing. Finding a brainspot through the field of vision helps to process and release traumatic or negative experiences from the brain that may otherwise be difficult to access through talk therapy.
I am passionate about support clients through current struggles in order to help achieve relief and hopefulness around their life.
