Making the choice to seek counseling can sometimes be difficult. The thought of becoming vulnerable can evoke several questions and anxiety. From everyday stress and feelings of being overwhelmed to important life transitions and events, anyone can benefit from counseling. Throughout the process of exploring barriers, you can achieve emotional health. During counseling, I believe it is necessary and effective to incorporate rational thought processes, as well as utilizing emotional and behavioral components. This directive approach can result in feelings of empowerment and self-understanding.
I have experience working with both adult and adolescent individuals and groups in an acute psychiatric setting, as well as day treatment and also outpatient. It is my goal to provide an environment in which you feel safe to become vulnerable and explore areas of growth to achieve mental wellness.
