As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe the counseling process is much like a journey and is a collaborative effort between the therapist and the individual, couple, or family. My counseling style is dependent on the needs of each unique individual and their goals. Therefore the counseling process will be different for each person, but my role as a therapist, to guide and encourage, remains the same. In the first few sessions, we will work to discover where you would like to go on the journey and continue when you are proactively committed to getting there.
My passion is to help individuals, couples, and families adjust to current life problems, stressors, and changes. Throughout my counseling experience I have worked with people of all ages and with many different issues. I have had the opportunity to work in private practice, hospital, and college settings.
