About
Are you a parent looking for support for your child? Is your child diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or other Neurodiversity? I believe that children of all abilities should have access to counseling and that children do not have to be neurotypical in order to get support. I work with children and their families to address a variety of needs including poor coping skills, limited ability for expressing feedings, poor self esteem, difficulties with limits/boundaries, highly sensitive children, and divorce. I also work with parents to build a strong and secure connection with their child.
I have over 12 years experience and have expertise in working with children, adolescents, and families. I provide play interventions, and Theraplay informed practice (parent/child therapy). Children do not come to counseling with the ability for talk therapy. Therefore, I utilize the child's natural language of play to provide a healing relationship.
I am passionate about making sure that children of all abilities feel supported in counseling. I want you and your child to know that there is someone out there who accepts them exactly as they are. Someone who does have the ability to help them even if they are unable to verbally ask for it. I'm here to support and I can't wait to hear from you!
