About
The decision to begin therapy can be daunting, especially if you are already feeling vulnerable and uncertain about what to expect from a therapist. Whether you have specific symptoms that you want to address or a vague sense of something not feeling right, therapy can help. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of US and international experience. I’ve worked with individuals and couples across the lifespan who come from every region of the world. I have successfully treated a broad range of difficulties, and my work is grounded in effective treatment methods.
During our first session, I will endeavor to put you at ease while listening closely to your story. Together we will identify what troubles you, and I will determine how I can help. My approach is warm, engaged, and direct. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment in which you can explore new ways of thinking, feeling, and being.
Choosing a therapist who is the right fit is essential to effective therapy. To this end, I offer a brief phone consultation at no charge so you can decide if working with me feels right for you. I welcome each person with an empathic appreciation for their unique needs and maintain a commitment to offering culturally responsive and inclusive services.
