I most enjoy working with adults on a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, disordered eating and body image, and perfectionist tendencies. My ideal client is someone who is ready to get to work and motivated to change. They also might describe themselves as a people pleaser or a person who cares for others before caring for themselves.
As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), I take a person centered and strengths-based approach rooted in body based practices and mindfulness. I additionally integrate concepts and interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
As a therapist, my goal is for each client to leave feeling seen and heard while also more attuned to themselves. Healing is not a linear journey and I would love to provide support during yours.
