I take a person-centered approach using techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, SFBT, and DBT working with individuals. I have a BS in Psychology from Louisiana State University and a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University of Louisiana.
In addition to having experience working with clients with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and crisis intervention, I have over ten years experience working in public health with people living with HIV/AIDs. I am an advocate for maternal & child health, postpartum wellness, integrative health approaches, and increasing mental health access.
