I am a Resident in Counseling with over 2 years of experience. I specialize in working with people who are caregivers, dealing with anxiety and depression, parenting issues, relationship issues, and life adjustments. I received my first Master’s degree in Human Services from Purdue Global University. Throughout that program, I learned the social services system and what resources our community currently needs.
I later received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. From that program, I learned how to turn those needs into action. From both programs, I gained experience in Crisis Intervention, Mental Health First Aid, CBT, and Mindfulness Training.
I believe that the key to any relationship is to be present. I do this by meeting the individual where they are and letting them lead the way. I feel that it is important to give someone the space and opportunity to speak freely without judgment.
