The most powerful aspect of therapy is the relationship between you and your therapist, which provides a foundation of trust and unconditional acceptance, so that through your therapeutic journey, you have an opportunity to experience wholeness and healing to live a flourishing life. Having worked in a school system for 17 years, I have seen first hand the effect of toxic stress, pain, loneliness, hurt, disappointment, and trauma on the lives of teenagers and adults. I am passionate about guiding both teens and adults on their journey toward healing, providing tools to experience connection, restoration, and wholeness.
I work with adolescent and adult individuals from a trauma-informed lens, recognizing that we all have experienced distressing life events that shaped how we think about ourselves and the world. Trained in EMDR therapy (trauma reprocessing), I also provide education and useful tools for working through the suffering and pain that often bring us to therapy.
Along the therapeutic journey, I hope to bring warmth and safety, education and tools, and time and space for you to work through your healing. It takes courage to face the path towards healing, often requiring us to go back before we can go forward. It is a path worth taking and you don’t have to do it alone.
