Alice Walker said, "the most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don't have any." Have you given up your power? Depression and anxiety can make us believe that we don't have any power and that things are hopeless. If you struggle with your daily life, relationships, self-esteem, and adjustment to changes, therapy can be a wonderful tool to help aid in your growth and find your power. Black and brown women have a lot coming at them and it can often make you feel powerless, let's work together to work through those things that may be holding you down.
Specializing in mental health and substance use treatment, I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness, & Trauma Recovery. My goal is to help break the stigma surrounding mental health and to assist clients with choosing empowerment over shame.
I invite you to be curious about yourself and join me on your therapy journey. I see clients virtually only right now. Please reach out to our office by phone or click the link above to schedule an appointment. I look forward to supporting you.
