My passion as a therapist stems from my deep roots as a forever listener, supporter and lived life experiences. Within my own complex background, I have always been the person, people turned to when they needed a listening ear. I worked throughout my lifetime to understand the balance between listening and gently guiding people when it felt right in the moment. I learned from a young age, the importance of sitting with our feelings as a way to process and allow those feelings to move through us so they can be released.
I specialize in helping families break away from unhealthy interactions and patterns from traumas like physical, emotional, sexual, domestic abuse, substance abuse and death/grief. I help families (children, parents and couples) identify the family dynamics that cause the issues, develop healthier boundaries and decrease the impact of these experience.
