I am a California-licensed clinical psychologist who provides effective, culturally responsive psychotherapy to individuals and couples to address psychological suffering and promote optimal mental health. My professional practice, Sacred Space Psychology, is a safe space where I help my clients deepen their relationships with themselves and others, building a life of meaning, purpose, and joy. I have had over 15 years of clinical training and experience working with individuals and groups in university, community, and forensic settings, who are struggling with a wide range of mental health concerns, such as anxiety and depression. For couples, I employ Emotionally Focused Therapy, a scientifically proven approach to heal relational distress.
Professionally, as a therapist, and personally, I see the therapeutic alliance as sacred and essential to effective psychotherapy.
