About
I believe in meeting my client’s where they are in order to build a strong therapeutic bond that implements change and growth. I seek to offer a nonjudgmental and empathetic approach that engages in the process of healing in a manner that is both restorative and informative. Therapy is an intimate and collaborative process. My goal is to create space for clients to feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, feelings, and emotions. I do that by normalizing their experience and centering their issues from the viewpoint of the individual as authority on their stories.
I'm trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Seeking Safety. Person-centered care is the foundation of my clinical practice and I know no two persons are alike. I believe in meeting my client’s where they are in order to build a strong therapeutic bond that implements change and growth.
My sessions are tailored to the needs of the client, therapy is not a one size fits all approach. In working with me, you will get a supportive psychotherapist, an educator and a goal-focused, direct, and empathetic coach to help you navigate the most challenging aspects of your life and champion your successes.
