We may often find ourselves trying to cope with our struggles on our own - and we might make it work for a while, but over time we can become exhausted, worn down, and confused. I believe reaching out and seeking therapy is a powerful way to support and care for ourselves. In therapy, we acknowledge our challenges, explore our stories & strengths, and learn new skills to promote change, healing, growth and resilience. My goal as a therapist is to create an environment that is open, welcoming, affirming and supportive, building a safe space for you to work towards feeling better, feeling more connected, and being your best self.
I have experience working with youth, adults and families from a variety of cultures, ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds. I have helped teen and adult clients with concerns including depression, anxiety, exposure to trauma, grief/loss, stress/overwhelm, relationship issues, and life transitions.
My own experiences have helped me see how helpful and worthwhile therapy can be, and I am honored to work with others on their path of healing, learning & growth. Please feel free to contact me for a free phone consultation to see if I can help with your needs & concerns.
